Nice camping place.
Very well manicured area to walk my pups!
Great place. Absolutely loved it !! Free camping fishing and fire range in designated area . So much wildlife. There's plenty to do for the whole family. Throw your boat in the water , swim if you'd like .set up your tent. Plenty of spots and fire rings to tell stories around. Hiking trails around the beautiful lake . Respect the land if you bring something in take it out with you . If your in the are definitely give it a gander ????
This is the best camp site I have ever been to. I have been going there for almost 30 years I started going when I was 18 years old. I brought my father with me when I was in my late 20s and then a few years after that I started bringing my son when he was 5 years old. My father even brought my mother once, but they stayed in a motel in a local town. This is actually a multipurpose land, but it is still the best for camping that I've ever been too all the same. There are multiple places to camp (although the best one you can camp at you can no longer drive down to, and is to far to hump your gear on foot). The crowds are hit or miss on the two major camping holidays, Labor Day & Memorial Day. Sometimes it's dead and you have the entire place to yourself, and sometimes your have to camp in the shooting pit. The rangers are pretty cool you just have to remember to follow the rules and they won't gone you a hard time. There are no facilities any where on the property so bring a shovel and some TP. There is a supermarket and a great dinner 5 minutes down the road. If you forget anything you can always run down to the store and pick it up, and you can always get breakfast if you don't want to cook it. I recommend this site to anyone who is interested in having a good time and creating memories to last a life time.
