Simon is the best guide. I took my bf out for a bday climbing trip and we had the best time. I’m a beginner climber and my boyfriend is very experienced and Simon got us up on climbs that were fun for both of us. Highly recommend an all day climb.

I have a great time ice climbing with Jon Crefeld for the third time. Looking forward to more exciting days in the mountains with a guide who is supremely encouraging.

Marty was a great guide and instructor! Great communicator via email, and with a wealth of knowledge to share. We had to pivot our original plans due to the weather, but he was extremely accommodating and made our trip to the Gunks very worth it! Definitely would recommend!

Simon was an excellent guide for our outdoor climbing experience at Sky Top Mohonk Mountain House, New Paltz. 1 guide and 3 of us was the perfect ratio. He was able to pick climbs that suited our different levels. The photo below was from last climb of day. Note, if you are only a gym climber this is a very different and very humbling experience, and one that we all loved.

Decided to check alpine endeavors for 4 day private lessons in July and it’s was a life changing experience. Marty and Simon were my guides (Marty for day 1 and Simon 2,3and 4). Both were amazing guides, they were very understanding and gave me a very thorough, detailed introduction to outdoor rock climbing, safety and risk measures. Simon, who I spent most of the days with, was a fantastic guide, a very easy going dude to talk to. He introduced me to single pitch and multi pitch climbing, rappelling, how to build anchors for both multi pitch and top rope situations and many more crucial skills. Definitely looking forward to taking more private lessons with AE and Simon as a guide. Highly recommend Alpine Endeavors!
