After losing our home to a fire, Cross Adjusters displayed the utmost professionalism and expertise from beginning to end, filling a void we were helpless to fill ourselves. They acted on our behalf with our insurance company, and provided us with their expertise on other, related matters. The pipes in our house froze and water was dripping from the pipes for an unknown amount of time, destroying two bathrooms, soaking the carpet in large room and ruining the walls and floors in our kitchen. The first person I'd contacted was Gordon Wemp as I knew him as an excellent builder and now a public adjuster with Cross Adjustment. Gordon not only responded right away and met with me at the house, he reassured us that with his help, we can work with the insurance company to get our claim started in a timely manner. Gordon organized movers, contractors to remove flooring and appliances, pod rentals and dealing with Central Hudson. The thought of filing claims and hiring new contractors to rebuild was overwhelming and intimidating, using Cross Adjustment to walk us through the whole ordeal made life so much more pleasant. An insurance claim can be very hectic from day one. I really didn’t know who to call or what to do at first. A friend recommended I call Nick Cross from Cross Adjustment. Nick came to my home within a half hour to start documenting the damages. The whole house had to be rebuilt except the frame. It was an extremely traumatic experience, however having Cross Adjustment on our side made it so much easier. We put everything to do with the insurance company in his hands and he was outstanding. He handled everything from helping us with housing, restoration, but most importantly reassuring us that we would get everything back into our home. Fast forward 7 months I'm sitting back in my home after the whole house was redone and I never had to deal with the insurance company. He was able to get me everything I needed from my claim from the rebuild to my contents.
