Great one on one glass creating experience in a fun little town. Had fun through the whole process and now have great usable momentos to remember our trip by. 😍
Great experience with wonderful hosts and craftspeople. Erin and Greg were patient, helpful and encouraging. A unique opportunity to be part of creating a keepsake of your time in the Adirondaks. Learn about the history and craft of GlassBlowing from two special artisans. Not to be missed!
What a great way to create your own glass project! We learned so much with Erin, who smiles brilliantly in every photo. She took us through each step nice and slow as we carefully built our glass bowls. There are several objects to make with a great selection of vibrant colors. You are also welcome to visit and watch the artists in action as well as buy their work from candy canes to paperweights to beautifully blown and sculpted bowls and vases. Friendly, welcoming and true craftsmen!
Visited the studio when on vacation. We were lucky enough to book a glass blowing experience! If you have the chance, I highly recommend it. While you don’t get to “blow” you are intimately involved in shaping, forming and finishing your piece. You can choose the style and colors you want to use. All the artists were very friendly and the class was educational and fun!
Bring closed toed shoes and non-synthetic clothing. They do provide PPE but you’re working near extreme heat and it doesn’t hurt to be safe :)
What a fun place to learn about working with glass! The glass pumpkins for the Pumpkin Festival were amazing. From the tiniest pumpkin to the largest, each was beautifully formed and the colors were breathtaking! It was extremely difficult to make choices among them and the only thing that held me back from purchasing more than I did was that I had to pack them as carry-on luggage.
