Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center

Visited in February. The hotel is in a great central location, with views of the lake. Our room was in the newly renovated wing and was very nice and clean. I especially liked the ample counter space in the bathrooms. The mattresses were firmer than we'd have preferred. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. We even had a view of the lake and winter fest fireworks from our window. We enjoyed the nice little indoor pool area. The pool was warm, but the room itself was a bit chilly.

We have stayed at the hotel multiple times in the past few years. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We stay in the grand hotel and our Lakeview King room has an unprecedented view of the lake. Plenty of parking, elevators, on-site dining and bar. There is also an indoor pool, as well as, an outdoor pool. We enjoy their ice bar and they are in walking distance of the Ice Castle and the village. The hotel is clean and well maintained.

Very clean, comfortable bedding, nice bathroom and shower, plenty of towels, TV with a good variety of channels, refrigerator, coffee and tea were provided in the room, friendly staff and walking distance from the event I was attending (Oktoberfest at Adirondack Pub & Brewery). The only negative I would say is that it was a little expensive. I had booked the hotel almost 3 weeks in advance and all that was available was a 2 queen bed room for $215 for 1 night.

We originally booked another hotel and had to leave it was so awful. We found the Fort William Henry Hotel and had the best stay. The location is seriously the best on the lake. The rooms and hotel were very clean. The staff was outstanding! Thank you so much Anna, Tanya and Mike for going above and beyond and making us feel so welcome and to the girl who found my sons fishing gear! Phenomenal!
