The process was very quick, and I was able to follow along and know exactly when my fur-baby would be back home. He arrived well-packaged, complete with paw and nose prints, kind words and an absolutely gorgeous, engraved, dark-walnut box. We are so appreciative and grateful that we found Pet Passages in Ontario, NY. From the first call to them to picking up our Lilah’s cremains was handled with love, compassion, dignity and respect – not just for us, but much more importantly for Lilah. Andrea and Mike were so caring and kind. I also want to mention and thank Brian who helped transport Lilah from the car to the private viewing room and was extremely caring and gentle with her. They are pet lovers themselves and it shows in everything they do. They never rushed us and let us spend as much time in our last moments with her as we wanted. The facility is beautiful and peaceful as well as being very professional and proficient. They have a tracking system to ensure you receive your pet’s cremains, which they completed and had her back to us with a couple of days. Having the option to get a clay imprint of her paw as well as the other special touches they provide – nose and paw prints - was priceless to us. When I picked her up, I decided to purchase an urn, and have it engraved – which they do right on site and only took a few minutes. I am so glad I did. It is beautiful. Dealing directly with Pet Passages showed us that there is an invaluable service for our four-legged family members that can help you through a difficult time in such a caring, dignified and compassionate way. Mike, Andrea and the staff at Pet Passages are wonderful. On one of my worst days, it was reassuring that my llama Gemma would be back with me. Her beautiful urn sits on my fireplace mantle. I recommend Pet Passages to everyone regarding their loved one’s resting place.

Beautiful facility with very caring staff, they were wonderful during such a difficult time. They are not well equipped to handle a giant breed dog, which was difficult to witness (gurney and door opening too small, dog almost fell off gurney), but I also understand that my dog is not the norm. Otherwise it was a really great experience, affordable, and would definitely use them again!

Pet Passages was very compassionate, considerate and thoughtful during a difficult time. They, along with Laps of Love gave our dog Cody the dignity of being able to pass at home. We would certainly recommend both of them to anyone who’s pet is failing and ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. We now have a beautiful memorial in honor of Cody at our home that wouldn’t have been as special without them. We had such a positive experience, that when Copper our rabbit at the nursing home where I work passed away unexpectedly, we called upon Pet Passages to assist us with his final resting place too. I can’t say enough about them. They provide a wonderful service for us grieving pet parents. I sincerely thank them and am so glad they were there in our time of need -Two best friends who made many senior citizens smile at the nursing home-together again
