Beautiful area to see wild life

Taxter Ridge park. Very nice park in woods: for hiking only. Well marked. Trails go up and down hills. My dog and I had a great time. Parking on Taxter Road.

A untrodden woodsy paradise of easy hiking trails. Its irregular shape makes the reserve seem bigger than it is. Marked down a star only because of its proximity to the (occasionally noisy) highway.
