I first went to Dr. Jan with a lower back injury and sciatica. I was in major, almost unbearable amount of pain. After working with Dr. Jan for around 2 months I’m pain free. Dr. Jan is a special talent for a chiropractor for sure, and I would recommend him to family and friends. Not sure what more I can say, he changed the quality of my life and I’m grateful. He is also someone very easy to talk to about what your goals are and is always a portrait of a gentleman.

This Doctor is a Miracle Worker! If I could give 5 million stars, I would. After a Walk-In Clinc, Primary Care visit, ENT visit, CT Scan, and 4 different antibiotics later for a 2 month long severe one-sided sore throat that wouldn’t go away, I had no answers. Nothing was found, nothing was working, and frankly, I wasn’t sure what my next steps would be to feel better. Never did I think that when I came to Dr. Jan for an unrelated lower back adjustment he would completely cure my throat! I mentioned my symptoms when he asked me how I was feeling in general and HE KNEW IMMEDIATELY that the cause of my ongoing sore throat was muscle related and treated me for it with specific adjustments and massage - relieving my pain and symptoms 100%! I am beyond grateful for him, his knowledge and his expertise. Look no further - this Doctor is the BEST of the BEST!

Dr. Jan is an incredible chiropractor who is very thorough, knowledgeable, and he genuinely listens to his patients to provide the best treatment plan. I always notice an immediate difference after an adjustment and Dr. Jan has helped me get rid of multiple headaches as well as intense back, neck, and shoulder pain. I highly recommend him and appreciate his holistic approach and the time he takes to properly treat each patient.

Dr. Jan and Dr. Karin are AMAZING!! I started seeing Dr. Jan in Dec 2022 for chronic pain from pectus excavatum, competitive dance injuries, and posture help... and I already feel like a new person. I participate in his MAPS program which includes posture and movement training, and there's never a day I leave the office where I don't feel awesome, relaxed, and pain free!! Dr. Jan's knowledge and level of care exceeds any chiropractor I've ever been to (and I've seen many). I've never been to a chiropractor who spends so much time with his patients and REALLY CARES. On days he's not in the Westchester office I will see Dr. Karin and the exceptional level of care transcends between both doctors. They are both equally as talented and knowledgeable so you're in amazing and gifted hands whoever you go to. (Go to both!) You WILL NOT regret it.

I am so thankful that I found Body In Balance. I have been seeing Dr. Karin for several months and it has been life changing. My upper back was riddled with knots and my lower back was always tight on one side, occasionally shooting daggers or locking up on me. Dr. Karin has been treating me with the upmost care and professionalism. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and encouraging.

Through her help, as well as nutrition counseling with Dr. Jan, I feel completely revitalized in my body. Dr. Jan has helped me reduce inflammation, and lose and keep off 15 lbs, which was my goal.

I have to mention massages with Erika as well, as she is a natural healer and probably the best massage therapist I have ever seen. When we discuss my concerns she listens and really focuses on what I’ve communicated.

One of my favorite things about this office is that they are incredibly transparent about pricing. They have many different options for your needs and they go over those up front. I am so satisfied with the care I have received there in every way.
