This was my first visit to Rise Above Floatation. I had been in a flotation tank one other time, years ago, at the Omega Institute and I loved it and couldn't wait to try Rise Above.
It exceeded my expectations in every way possible. First and foremost, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and presented instructions on the process were very clearly.
The facility was spotless and so ZEN!
I chose to float in the pod. It was immaculately clean and everything. I hope it would be. I followed my visit float with a massage that was equally as wonderful. I highly recommend you give it a try them a try! The picture I'm including is not of the pot I floated in, but one of the open floats for those who have more issues with tight spaces!
Went for the Tranquility Pod and was assisted by Devon. The pod has buttons for door opening/closing and lights on/off so no worries about having to manually shut the door. Had a good float, and just remember not to touch your face 🙂 Would definitely go again just to pass the time during rush hour!
super clean, very friendly, and extremely relaxing. Many different types of float rooms available. Floating will help recover from most ailments: muscles aches; neck pain; back pain especially from stress. Learn how to still the body and mind into relaxation then into deep meditation. Wellness.
My wife and I went there in the morning, which was great because no one else was around. Marina showed us around and was very friendly, accommodating, and seemed like she really cared about us having a good first experience. I did the larger floating room because I like to stretch out a lot and my wife did the pod. We both had a great experience and by the end of the hour, we did feel very relaxed. Just one hint if you're new, don't rub your eyes and get the water in there because there is so much salt in the water it will burn a ton. Just try to really sit there and not move at all with the lights off. We'll definitely come back when we have some time off again.
I had my first float session here at Rise Above Floatation. I really enjoyed the experience. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful and accommodating. There is a shower in the float room as shown in my pictures.
