A treasure in Northern Westchester. 200+ acres family run farm, Nothing corporate here!
Apple selection is amazing, many varieties you will not find in any store. I particularly appreciate the knowledge you can receive from the family. I wanted a sweet/tart crispy apple and got 3 reccomendations, spot on! (If it matters the winsap was my favorite) Get there at the right time of year and pick them yourself.
Don't skip the bakery, fresh baked apple cider donuts are amazing.
Loved this place. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Only about an hour from NYC. It’s $45 for 25 pounds of apples, which I think is well worth it for the experience. No entry or parking fee, and you get access to the pumpkin patch and farm store with reasonably priced yummy apple cider donuts and other pastries. Didn’t do the hayride which is $5 or the corn maze. There are some small hills, with really nice views. I will say there’s not many apples left, but that’s to be expected since it’s late in the season. We were still able to fill up our bag and apples are sweet and crisp
This was our second time visiting for apple picking. This time I went with my family, and we had a wonderful experience. The farm was very well organized, with staff guiding cars in the right direction, easy access to portable restrooms, and a nice bakery on site. The orchard was big, well-kept, and ideal for a family outing. I recommend it, especially if you go in small groups. Just keep in mind that you should bring cash, as I don’t think they accept cards.
