“Before working with David, I had worked with several trainers in efforts of losing weight, controlling my diabetes, getting healthier, and improving my golf game. I was also suffering from some orthopedic issues, such as a previous knee surgery, a painful left shoulder, and back spasms. To me, fitness is not something I naturally enjoy doing. While I love golfing, I see fitness as more of a necessary thing to do so my health doesn’t get out of control. I think David does many things well, but there are a few things he does really well. One, while he has a great understanding of how the body works, he takes care not to overwhelm you with education and knowledge. I’m a guy in his 50’s who doesn’t do research on any of this stuff, so I appreciate his approach. Two, he ensures the program is personalized to you, and crafts each exercise to meet your level and goals. There have been times when I wasn’t feeling my best, but he made a few modifications to still help me feel great after I was done. He is very helpful in giving suggestions on things to do on days we are not training together. Three, he’s motivating. Like me, he understands fitness isn’t always easy nor fun. He is engaging, occasionally makes funny jokes, and does his best to relate to his clients so he doesn’t seem like a robot. As a result of our work together, the pain in my left shoulder disappeared after a few weeks of training. I’ve been battling this pain for years, and it would often negatively impact my golf game. He explained to me with clarity why I was having pain and how we were able to manage it. This is huge because I love golf. My back gets tense far less frequently. Whereas I would get nervous about playing a full round of golf two days in a row, I can occasionally knock out a full round of golf four days in a row without my back, knee, or shoulder giving me any issues. I also have a much better understanding of nutrition. I have a history of kidney cancer, and want to do my best to avoid a recurrence or letting my health decline faster, especially since now that I’m a grandfather of twins. It’s also pretty cool to see myself improve in various aspects of fitness, whether it’s my strength, better blood sugar control, better golf game, and being to get down on the ground to play with my grandchildren! I am now able to do 30 straight push-ups, 5 unassisted chin-ups, a 300 pound deadlift, Bulgarian split squats (hate these), and farmer carries with 90 pounds in each hand. Not too bad for someone in his late 50’s. David has my highest recommendations. If you’re looking for a trainer who cares about your results, takes into account your injuries, fitness levels, and even outlook on fitness, reach out to David. He’ll make sure you see the results you’re looking for and keep you entertained in the process.”

“HSS Westchester is a beautiful facility and living in Westchester so convenient. Having both shoulders replaced by the wonderful Dr. Lawrence Gulatta I am doing my physical therapy at HSS Westchester. If you are considering PT look no further. Amazing therapists totally dedicated to your appointment to make sure you have the best outcome. Thank you Christian!!!”

“I was initially scheduled to see Dr. Gott but upon arrival I was advised that his wife had gone into labor and that I was switched over to Dr. Weinstein. There isn't enough praise that I could give him. Badly injured and in an immerse amount of pain, he heard me out and told me to prepare for the worse which ultimately was not as bad as either of us thought. My follow-ups with him were great! He's funny, firm but reassuring and gives the best needles. Dr. Weinstein has been in the business for a long time and it shows. Only qualm I had was with the scheduling dept. I don't recall the woman's name that makes the MRI appointments but she has no compassion, doesn't care how much pain you're in, nor does she return calls. It's a shame because the doctor and most of the staff are stellar. Wait time can sometimes be a little long but nothing too crazy. I also like that he does not rush through appointments. He may step out but a PA will consult with you until the doctor returns. I'm thankful for everything this office has done for me and have recovered well.”

“I love the office building. Everything is brand spanking new. Dr. Trehan is very personable with a killer smile. I was very confident of the medical care as backed up by the HSS reputation. Biggest downfall is EXTENSIVE WAITING TIME. both of my visits I was there over 1 HR. So , for that reason I’ll be kind and rate it a 4.”
