“I have to give it 5 stars. I mean, the collection is insane. This is on my top 3 museums globally. However, it is a lot. You will get super tired and spend a lot of time if you like art. I would recommend starting from up to down and taking a break to grab something to eat on the cafe or the rooftop. I was short in time so I did not do that and I was mentally exhausted by the time I left. The store is good but lacks a bit of variety in the cheap souvenirs. I am old fashioned in museums and would rather have a printed map. Global students pay half price ($14). Student ID is required but they did not look mine particularly. It was busy in a Tuesday so I can only imagine the weekend. Still completely comfortable to walk through and no line at any moment.”

“I really enjoy going to this black owned bookstore to buy books and their delectable oatmeal raisin cookies. I just wish they would have a label for the ingredients on the cookies, so that people who are allergic to certain food would know what's in the cookies.”

“I hate hanging pictures. After we moved into our new house, I fretted about hanging my many new paintings, an animal mount, and a grandmother clock. Fortunately my decorator provided Bernadette’s number. I called and within two weeks, she was there at my house with her team. She did an amazing and professional job. She made on-site repairs, rewired some of the paintings, and touched up a frame making sure all hung properly, plumb, and level. Fair prices for her services and stress free for the customer, I would hire her again for my future hanging services. Worth every penny!”

“We took a class at Prism and had the best time. Neither of us had ever worked with glass but Raj was a great teacher! We were definitely subpar at best but would love to go again! The class really helped us get a lot of the fundamentals down. Also, the pieces they have in their shop are incredible!”

“I've only been in the art gallery once, a long time ago when I was still in elementary school. I normally walk through Union college and passed the Mandeville gallery. I go there now for the pokestops 😂😂😂 Still a great place to sit and relax or study.”

“I first discovered Butterscotch Galleries several years ago when doing a search on Tibetan art. I am a collector of Asian antiques and antiquities so I have dealt with many auction houses. I bid on several items including a beautiful Thangka painting, which I won. Everything was incredible and the House could not have been more professional. The owner treats his auctions like a piece of beautiful artwork. There is balance, quality and excellence throughout every auction. This past year I felt I must downsize my collection and I didn't approach anyone else but Butterscotch to handle my things. It's very important to any potential consignor to understand that many auction houses are not always very straight about their operations. Butterscotch treats the consignor with the utmost respect and the items with kid gloves. They are above and beyond honest and handle every aspect of their business with integrity. I had the pleasure of having Brendan Ryan help me. Not once was there any patronizing behavior or any pushing when I was not sure of letting a piece go. It was remarkable to me the depth of his knowledge. And, he was kind! The owner Paul and everyone else associated with the gallery was wonderful too. I was very happy with the results of all my endeavors with Butterscotch and highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or to sell. My experiences were always A+. (And, I love the logo for i love cats!)”

“Robin Zefers Clark is an incredibly talented artist. In addition to beautiful landscape paintings, her pet portraits and commissioned work is world-class. She did a portrait of my heart dog, and it looks even more life-like than the original photo. I can not recommend her work highly enough.”
