“This is an oasis for people traveling down the Saw Mill River Parkway to NYC. It's open 24/7, has a decent convenience store, and a public restroom. The clerk, even at 5am, is friendly and helpful. The star off is for them taking complete advantage of all the positives I just listed, and charging 30¢ or more for a gallon for gas, as compared to pretty much every other gas station around.”

“Great Stop but come early. It does have limited space and there are others using the space for repairs but hey, it's their lot to use as they see fit. I stop here all the time when my schedule and timing allow. It does tend to get full by 5pm so plan ahead. Great access to Historic Albany. I walk into downtown all the time for exercise and a some good food. Have never been hassled here one bit and the staff is professional & courteous. My two cents, enjoy!”

“I was traveling from Philadelphia Pa to Williamstown Massachusetts when my car, with several hundred thousand miles on it, broke a CV joint on my right front axle rendering the vehicle inoperable. It broke pulling into the first rest stop on 87, entering NY. I google searched "auto repair near me" and found Dutch Auto Repairs. Jose answered the phone, explained how to legally tow a vehicle off of NY State Thruway, told me he would order the part and have it waiting for me and get me back on the road as soon as possible. I broke down at Noon and was back on the road at 4:00 PM. That includes the call to the state police, towing and repairs. I knew this repair was coming and was looking for time to do it. I had already priced everything out at home. Jose's price came in slightly cheaper. I was nobody from out of state and this place treated me very well and fairly. I highly recommend this shop. PS I'm an ASE certified master mechanic with L1 certification (Diagnostics). I worked as a flat rate mechanic in several dealerships, owned my own repair shop for 30 years (like this one), sold it and opened a mobile diagnostic auto service, (thus all the miles on my car) David Benbow”
