“I am quite satisfied with services provided at DeGraff Medical Park. Have used the ER twice myself, and once for my octogenarian relative. Respect throughout. Have also made sure to get my x-rays, ultrasound and blood work done at DeGraff Medical Park--close to home. Utilizing this facility helps keep it in the community, for us to have these services available nearby, versus traveling to other municipalities when in medical need. It is a comfort to me that DeGraff Medical Park is available in all four seasons, in an area with active residents. In a motor vehicle accident, I would rather be served within the City than be forced to travel because no emergency services are available right here.”

“I have read a lot of reviews here, and the negative ones make it seems like I'm reading about a hospital in an alternate reality. I have been to this hospital many times and have never had anything but great care there. It's very clean, the hospital staff is caring and helpful, the doctors and nurses that I have been associated with have been amazing. They treat you like you're family. Yes, you sometimes have to wait at the emergency room, but that's the way it is at all hospitals, in my experience. We are so luck to have a small local hospital in our area that has caring, quality doctors, nurses, and staff. They have been working hard in the last several years to bring in specialists so we don't have to go to Buffalo. As far as the review about the emergency room not letting anyone go in with their loved one, I have never seen that. Their rule is to let one person go in with each patient. I have personally experienced that several times at all times of day and night. They have even let two people go in on occasion. When the emergency room doctor had to give me the news that my mom was terminal, he let my husband come in also to help me cope with such bad news. Long live Bertrand Chaffee Hospital!”

“I can not say enough positives about the St. Peter's ALS Regional Center. The staff is phenomenal, available and compassionate. They lent us so much medical equipment that would have left us bankrupt as a family. We had 24/7 help from Dr. Miller and our nurse Trish. All of the specialists knew their stuff and thought of every creative solution. For our family, ALS was an especially brutal experience because it was compounded with probably frontotemporal degeneration (dementia). It made our case time intensive and emotionally intensive and they were wonderful through it all. Thank you so much!”
