“This parking lot is pretty close to the concert venue, which was nice. However, they don't have (or at least they didn't have while I was there) anyone directing traffic after the shows, though, so it's really hard to get out of the parking lot. It's just a mass of cars all trying to squeeze out at the same time. Be careful!”

“A nice small park overlooking Cold Spring Harbor, Dedicated to the singer Billy Joel, it’s a good spot to go to on a hot Summer Day.”

“I love this place. It's so convenient off of 7 lakes drive. The trails circle the entire lake. It's so my beautiful, any time of day, and time of year. I almost want to give a bad rating to keep people away. I like how quiet this place usually is and that people don't really know about or visit it much. But the driveway is sort of hard to spot and easy to miss. Maybe that will keep my "secret" place from being overrun. Go ahead and check it out. Please respect the place and don't litter!”

“Love this park for doing hilly loops on the road bike. Park at the circle for a built in rest stop with bathroom. No potable water in winter.”

“Generous parking lot for Jones beach goers. Bit of a trick to get to. Underhand please that leads to a lovely view of flowers then the boardwalk and beach. We went here the second week of September. The beach sand was dirty and you could not walk barefoot because there were broken shells about the place. The wind blew sand all over our blanket and food. The water was a little cold at first but you quickly adjust because it is not that cold. There were others on the beach treasure hunting, relaxing, and walking about. No one in the water besides ourselves at first. The seagulls are out in flocks and come close but run away if you scare them off. There was also no visible lifeguard. Th showers we're a bit tricky to find and so was staff to ask where they were located. This is actually one of the better beaches NY has to offer.”
