The Growing Years Learning Centers (Burlington, NC)

Growing years is a wonderful school. My daughter had learned soooo much since starting to go there. She loves her teacher and shes a wonderful teacher.

My daughter has been going here since her 2nd birthday (5 y/o now) and she absolutely loves school. When everything shutdown for a while she missed all of her teachers and her friends so much. This will be her last year here (Kindergarten next year) but I'm very grateful she has a place like this for one more year. With COVID going on...a lot of children aren't getting the chance to socialize with their peers, I'm so glad the timing worked out for her to be in daycare a year longer. Also, the teachers are fabulous in my opinion and they do care about children. I will say, there was a point in time around 3 years old where my daughter would be bitten by a classmate (same child) every other day. At least once a week for months we filled out an incident report, sometimes two days in a row. I didn't think it was handled correctly according to their "biting policy" (expelled after 3 times?) My child was probably bitten 8-10 times that year; but nonetheless, I believe in compassion for others and I'm glad they didn't give up on 'the biter', but yeah they could have done more to separate them and to protect my daughter. Hopefully that kid isn't still biting his 'friends'

My daughter is currently enrolled at TGY and has been since the spring of 2018. We absolutely love it here. They have a great curriculum, they provide healthy meals and snacks, and a healthy and happy environment that is filled with fun and learning. Communication has always been great. I love that it is a locked facility and that there are cameras in each class room so I can see my daughter anytime!

We have had all three of our children at The Growing Years over the past 11 years. We have absolutely loved this school - every aspect - the teachers, the curriculum, the atmosphere. Our two kids that are now in elementary school were beyond prepared for Kindergarten both academically and socially. And our third child is four and he could go to Kindergarten tomorrow without hesitation. The school is creative in the classroom at every age and provides a wonderful learning and nuturing environment. Most importantly, my kids looked forward to going to "school" everyday. I would recommend this school to everyone.
