“Matt and David went above and beyond to provide honest and professional service when I needed them the most. I recently purchased a fixer upper in the Snow Camp area, and they quickly and professionally fixed many small plumbing issues that other plumbers tried to make out to be a big "to-do." They were kind and knowledgeable, and were able to explain some of the bigger plumbing issues I was having by owning a home in the country. Water quality was one of those issues, and they recommended a water filtration system which they installed within a few hours for a fantastic price. The difference has been night and day. They stand by their work, and they truly mean it. As I continue remodeling this property, I feel confident in turning to Matt and David for all my plumbing needs.”

“It's been a couple years since I have visited this restaurant and I noticed that they were doing remodeling over the last month. I stopped in this morning and was greeted when I came in. Blue and I sat down at a corner table and were served very quickly. The restaurant seemed very well kept and was very clean! The coffee was delicious, as usual and once my meal arrived, it was delicious as well! I really like the way they redid the restaurant and I'm definitely coming back here for more delicious breakfast food!”

“We have sometimes browsed Freehand Market and have purchased some lovely household items and gifts, but I never paid much attention to the refill station at the back of the store. My mistake! They offer jars, or you can bring your own. And they have all the more natural type basics you need for soap, personal care, and household care. I am thrilled to have a great, local option for this stuff. 100% would rather spend here than an amazon affiliate or other big corporate business, buying stuff we need produced by smaller businesses.”

“This is a rare place. Old school master mechanic running his own shop out in the cut of Alamance Co. I mean, I'll turn wrenches on occasion for my own vehicles when I can, but I'm not a mechanic. So when I ran across a problem with my truck that I wouldn't be able to tackle on my own, I went looking for a place nearby with a good reputation. Had heard good things in the village about Irving, but man oh man, his craftsmanship exceeds even what I was expecting from his reputation. He's down to earth, honest, straight forward, and fair in his dealings. Most importantly: He's a diagnostician. A real diagnostician. A lot of auto shops get by doing parts replacements without ever really sussing out what's wrong with your vehicle, but not Irving. Irving knows his trade more than just about any mechanic I think I've ever met. Do yourself a favor. Take your car to him if it's having issues. Don't forget to be patient: My repair took about a week to be completed, but it was a monster to tackle. But quality is worth the wait. The man even cleaned and adjusted the throttle on my truck because it was on the way to the part that needed to be replaced. It runs better than it did when I bought it a decade ago. Thanks Irving, we'll be back around to see you for the next one.”

“I make a run to the landfill about once a month, it's much cheaper than a trash collector. They charge 50 cents for a kitchen garbage bag and $1 for a contractors bag. They take all kinds of recyclables that trash collectors don't. Cardboard, electronics, metal, magazines, newspapers, plastic, cans, glass, used motor oil all of that is no charge! The place is really kept clean and clear of fallen debri. Just make sure you tarp down your truck or trailer so you don't create litter on your pleasant drive through the country to get there.”
