I’ve been storing at this facility since before it was Copper Safe. At the time it was Compass Pointe so I’ve been there for a few years. Recently, I have had to entrust my niece to take care of my stuff in the unit while I managed the care of my father, who was four hours away. Two days ago, She was having trouble getting into the facility (the door code was suddenly no longer working) and called me, since there was no one there on site. I called the number and spoke to an agent who verified that the code still should work and didn’t know why it wasn’t working. In order to avoid further problems, he put her on a note as an “Authorized user list” for my unit, so that she could call the next day (when she was returning) and have someone open the door, since I was not in town and she needed items in there. The next day, she still had problems and called for help and whomever answered the phone told her that there was no such thing as an Authorized User List and was apparently very rude. I called right after that to get to the bottom of it because you can’t say one thing one day, and then it’s no longer valid the next. (This is why this review is only four stars)
I got Sherritaeria….. she was patient and polite and listened to me vent. Once she heard the whole story, she got to the bottom of the situation. She was able to verify that my niece was indeed on a note on my account. She explained that one of the first things that they are trained to do is to check the notes on a customer’s account. But she skillfully diffused my anger and quickly verified everything, and gave me some options for the next day, when I was going to show up the location to physically see for myself what was happening to the door. (A four hour trip from where I was at the time). She handled everything beautifully and with exceptional skill. I thanked her for her skills as a customer service rep. The next day, my code worked……and I have a hunch it’s because Sherritaeria took care of making sure someone checked to see why the door wasn’t working. Thanks a million Sherritaeria, for giving me faith in that CS reps still want to take care of customers and not just have a job. And then for making sure I could get to my stuff.
When we needed a second storage unit, Haleigh tried and succeeded to get us one as close to the first. As we were navigating between floors, Haleigh programmed both fobs to access the elevators for both floors! Haleigh made a difficult, stressful transition that much simpler! When we thanked her for all of her assistance, she humbly stated that it was her job! Job well done, Haleigh! We were very impressed with the cleanliness and abundance of carts available too!
Right off the bat Haleigh at this location was very kind, helpful, and took the time to show me everything including walking me to my new storage unit so I didn't get lost in there. Now that's customer service! Plus the place is modern, well lit, squeaky clean, and very secure. I knew no one here prior to me renting a storage unit nor was I paid in any way for this review. Its just a high quality storage place.
