“This was my first time here and I am really glad that I went on recommendation from a friend! As soon as we walked in, we we're greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter and from the the service only improved. I ordered "The Concord" which was made fresh, brought out hot, and downright delicious. The interior was clean and has a nice local flare to it. If you want a quick, fresh, lunch experience, I would highly recommend this place.”

“My husband and I hired Icing on the Edge for our wedding last September and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! Sharon is creative, super accommodating and very professional. We went into our consultation not knowing what flavors we wanted and after tasting her AMAZING flavors, it made our decision even harder. But despite narrowing down our decision, we had a theme we wanted to stick to – a naked cake that went along with our golden red, white and blue theme. Sharon came up with the best strategy of our BEAUTIFUL three-tiered cake with the most delicious flavors. And the icing on the cake… all pun intended… is that she offered our one-year anniversary cake as a cake she will prepare for our anniversary upon request versus saving the top tier for a year and risking an old crusty cake for our first anniversary. The cake was a hit with our guests too and we couldn’t have asked for a better presentation! Icing on the Edge has reasonable pricing and the BEST owner who will help create your dream cake, no matter what your vision.”

“Overall, my daughter has had a wonderful experience at this school. In particular, out of the 4 teachers she's had, 3 have been FANTASTIC, and the 4th was still a really good teacher. The only honest, negative feedback we can give is with the busing system and with fundraising. The bus is late (typically 30 minutes) AT LEAST once a week on average...and often times it is late 2-3 times a week. While the school does usually call, it has become a major issue when trying to get to work in the mornings. Also, as other reviews have stated, there ARE ALOT OF FUNDRAISERS. They are structured such that the kids get rewards for raising more money. They are very frequent (and as most parents do, we lean on the same people to contribute in each one, grandparents, etc.) They glorify the rewards so much that my daughter gets REALLY sad and upset if she is unable to earn, for example, a limo ride, and all her friends get to go without her. The fundraising program uses this to almost force parents and grandparents into donating so that their kids do not feel alienated and left out. I HONESTLY DONT KNOW HOW WE WILL DO IT ONCE WE HAVE MULTIPLE KIDS IN SCHOOL AT ONE TIME! As soon as one fundraiser is over, another begins immediately. It truly is overwhelming. THE SCHOOL SHOULD REMEMBER WE ALSO PAY TAXES TO SUPPORT OUR PUBLIC SYSTEMS. It is often hard to see where the $25,000 that some of these raise goes, and what the money contributes to. It OBVIOUSLY doesn't go to busing. IT IS VERY EASY TO RANT WHEN SOMETHING UPSETS US. I should fairly reiterate....MY DAUGHTER HAS HAD A WONDERFUL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE OVERALL. HER TEACHERS HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING TO SAY THE LEAST!!! Each one has left their own positive impression on her. They have nurtured her special needs and we've really seen her develop a love of learning AND a LOVE FOR SCHOOL that is priceless. My wife and i have honestly chosen NOT to pursue our own opportunities and move, because we are so fortunate to be in this school. Overall, back off the fundraising, and the educational experience here would be near flawless.”
