The owner, Ryan was wonderful. Super friendly and personable and had a great sense of humor. Our server, Paige was terrific. She was also very friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at any given moment. Now to the food…..the chicken fried chicken with white gravy was better than your grandma makes. It was fantastic beyond words. I literally could’ve eaten nothing but that and walked out completely satisfied. It was moist yet super crispy and the gravy was perfection. Trust me when I say, don’t get the single order….get the double. You can thank me later. The crispy hash was yummy as was the potlikker dip (a collard green and cheese dip on toasted baguettes). The chicken sandwich my other half ate was also delicious and don’t get me started on the banana pudding. I don’t normally really care for banana pudding but theirs was fabulous. If you haven’t eaten here yet…..run don’t walk. We will definitely be back. I will need my fix of chicken fried chicken soon.

My husband loves old fashioned comfort food so we thought we'd give it a try. We both had fried chicken. I had the chicken fried chicken and he had the 2 piece dark meat chicken. Mine was delicious and the only thing I would have change is to provide more gravy with the chicken. My husband felt the thigh was a bit over cooked but the leg was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and I do think that a restaurant that serves wine should know better than to serve a red that is too young. I should have asked the year of the wine but I didn't. I was quite shocked to see they were serving a Malbec that was a 2020. The tannins were pretty strong and the wine would have benefited from being laid down for a few years. I know they tend to push the envelope with wines but this was too much. If I had paid full price for the bottle (it was half price night) I might have sent it back.

Top Notch Everything! From the Customer Service to the food. Our Waitress Kenzi was one of the nicest and most professional servers I have encountered in a while. She suggested some food items and let me Say they did not disappoint. I had the Grit Scramble and My Friend had the garden omelette. Both were👍🏾👍🏾! Was invited to come back and try their dinner. We will. Fully stock bar, family environment. Plenty of outdoor seating and Pet Friendly. 🐕🐱..

I am a picky eater so I was worried about trying this place, but boy am I glad I did. I have never had such a visceral or religious experience eating ANYTHING before. Everything was crispy without being over cooked, everything was perfectly seasoned, it was hot, and flat out delicious. You could tell the cooks in the back cares about their food because it tasted fresh and home cooked. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic, but the sausage balls and country friend shrimp (definitely put the lemon on it) were my favorites. I literally had to process how good the food was after every bite. The dining room is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Highly, highly recommend. I will be driving 40 minutes to eat here again.
