It's a decent place to put a kayak in. But they seem strict about rules. Read them first. You can't get very close with the kayaks though. If you don't have wheels, maybe go somewhere else. Also, there's no fance launch. Just a dock.
Quiet small park on the confluence of Sawyer Creek and the Pasquotank River with a pavilion, fishing pier and benches to take in the fantastic views. Two biking/hiking trails are challenging within the tightly packed woods. Definitely a hidden gem.
The trails are fun, but their markings can be hard to spot. The bathrooms are closed for good it seems. It's a nice park overall.
Beautiful. Clean and spacious.
Great area to get in the water with kayaks or pier fishing. Has restrooms and outdoor showers but seem to always be closed/ locked
