Szechuan Village 川小馆

I’ve had done in and take out 3 different times from here already. The lunch specials are phenomenal. The food is amazing. I’m so happy to know where to go to get New Yorker worthy Chinese food. My friend who is from China brought me. She was very excited to bring me.

A little pricey. There is an upcharge for brown or fried rice.

I can always tell if the dish I ordered is by the quality of the hot and sour soup. This soup was a little above average.

Not all chicken dishes are white meat, so you need to ask before ordering.

I ordered a white meat chicken dish. The chicken was properly cooked and tasted fresh.

The sauce was delicious.

I asked for soy sauce and was given several of those little soy packs that are common to Chinese takeout. In other words, basically tastes like salted, colored water.

I will return.

Absolutely fantastic! Living in Chapel Hill, this restaurant has become my go-to place. I appreciate their dedicated staff and no longer need to travel far for authentic Sichuan cuisine. Thank you!

Came by for a late lunch early dinner. Was killing some time and dining solo. I ordered a hot green tea, steamed pork dumplings, and the Singapore noodles.

Everyone was super friendly, the customer service was perfect and the food was fresh, hot and the portions were plentiful. Will definitely be back! Can't wait to try more dishes.
