Pivot PT - Pittsboro

I had a total hip replacement in May of 2021 and started PT with Jenna a few months afterward. She quickly assessed that I had a Trendelenburg Gait and put me on a plan that led to total recovery. I worked with Jenna 2x per week for 6 months where she consistently raised the bar to such an extent where I'm now able to run short distances again and resume limited sporting activities like tennis and basketball. I am at the point where I can continue to make progress on my own thanks to Jenna's skills in providing me with exercises and activities that I can do myself. I really am grateful for all that Jenna has done over these past several months to bring me to my current level of performance. She has a gift for working with people and a talent with physical therapy. I highly recommend Jenna and the facility at Pivot Pittsboro.

I've had a lot of interactions with different physical therapist having had 4 back surgeries. Having moved to Pittsboro and having my right hip replaced once again went searching for a place for my physical therapy. I talked with several before talking with Jenna at Pivot in Pittsboro. Once I met Jenna and talked with her I felt with her upbeat attitude, knowledge and professionalism I felt comfortable with wanting to go with Pivot. Best decision I've made with any of the therapist. I had the best rehab on my hip and haven't regretted my decision to go with Pivot and Jenna at all. When I just had my left hip replaced I never once contemplated where I would go for my therapy. Jenna is a personable, knowledgeable and professional therapist who I have complete confidence in.

I had a complete right knee replacement 8/30/21. (after having a complete hip replacement 3 years prior, which I breezed through.). Having heard from so many "well-meaning" friends that knee replacements were painful & PT difficult but necessary I was terrified. Well, I had the surgery & experienced very little pain & scheduled my prescribed Outpatient PT. From the minute I walked into the reception lobby I was welcomed by Leticia the receptionist & Miss Jenna, who brought me in for assessment. My flex goal was 135. I was already at 103, yay! Jenna wasted no time getting me into the groove, all the while getting me to do things at 65 y/o that I hadn't done in like, years. My new party tricks are doing the Kate Winslet flying pose from the titanic to show my new knee strength & 'sit & stands', with which I have a love/hate relationship. Her approach, while no nonsense (you get away with nothing! I swear that girl has eyes in the back of her head), she is her patients' advocate & cheerleader. She makes you want to succeed! "Graduates" still come by to say hey, she is that wonderful. Together with the other PTs I met, Kate & Kelly, it is a warm, encouraging & fun environment. I actually miss going! I sure hope Jenna is still around this August when I do Knee #2!! And final note. I would have stolen the fabulous icing therapy machine if I could have...

I was treated here for a shoulder injury and had a great outcome. The facility is nice (clean, equipment in good repair, etc) and everyone is helpful, but the real standout was my Therapist, Jenna. She challenged and encouraged me and had a sincere interest in helping me to recover. If you need PT, I would absolutely recommend this is your first stop.

I've had a complete hip replacement. My surgeon told me that I would definitely require physical therapy. I went by Pivot Physical Therapy in Pittsboro and met Jenna, the physical therapist. I was impressed with her courtesy and professionalism right away. I credit my recovery to her instructions and guidelines. From where I started to where I am now is all due to her guidance. I wish I knew her and Pivot with my 4 previous back surgeries. I would highly recommend Jenna and Pivot Physical Therapy for any and all rehab needs.
