Just moved our loved one in today. Everyone has been so kind and caring. We appreciate everything the staff does for these residence.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful in getting registered as a guest. Also, our family was allowed to use the conference room for our visit. On the other hand, my relative shared a room with another person who seems to have either a cognitive disorder or dementia. There should be more of an effort to match roommates that have more in common. This is the reason that I rated the facility 4 stars rather than 5 stars.

I had to place my husband with dementia at Genesis and he’s been there now for two months. I am so impressed with all of the staff with his care. He has some tough issues but they all take in in stride. Anytime there is any type of issue they are very helpful. They take the time to talk to me and it means a lot. They also are really caring for my husband.

My family is very grateful for the care and service my aunt has received at Genesis/Siler City. The staff have been dedicated, professional, and kind through a rough 2+ years of Covid. They not only know my aunt well but also recognize me when I come for a visit. When only Zoom meetings were available for visits, they arranged these weekly for several months for family visits across multiple states. They are also timely in keeping me informed about my aunt's condition. Since my aunt moved here from out of state, it has been especially good to see her make friends with staff and other residents. We appreciate all of the administration and are grateful for the leadership of director Mark Johnston. Thanks to the admissions staff, activities, social work, nurses, CNAs, laundry, housekeeping, and dining room staff. We realize you have been navigating uncharted territory with Covid and appreciate all your efforts. You are terrific!
