We joked around, talked about our kids, he answered our questions & really explained things to us. He also took the time & got our monthly payment almost cut in half - from the same company we have been with for years. “I was in the thrift store on January 8th around 2:30 when a man walked in complaining about the woman behind the counter not saving a CD rack for his wife. He got very loud and argued back then an non on duty police officer got involved in the discussion and tried to usher the man out. None of these things worked until Gabriel came up. Gabriel walked and listened to the man. At that moment the complaining customer immediately calmed down. Then Gabriel got the man outside and handled the situation outside. Thank goodness for Gabriel! He was polite to the customer even though the customer was very loud. He listened and respond in a way that deescalated the situation. I will continue to shop at the thrift store because of how Gabriel handled the situation. Gabriel could have been rude back but he was not. Thank you!!!”

“My stay at JodiJai's Golden Present Retreat was everything I'd hoped for and more. I stayed at the Golden Present for a 5-day virtual meditation retreat. I was looking for a place with good energy, healthy food, and peace: Jodi was welcoming--making spaces available for my 6-8 hours of meditation practice; she cooked delicious and healthy meals to accommodate my food requests/timing, and the energy of her home and land was beautiful and meditative. In addition, JodiJai led morning yoga movement and evening restorative yoga classes. I have taken yoga for decades and JodiJai knows her stuff and is an excellent teacher. She has a intuitive sense of energy and needs and met my energy beautifully. If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, for grounding, relaxation, nourishment, and/or restoration, I recommend this the Golden Present without reservation.”

“Serene, beautiful and a place to be one with nature when you need to worship or meditate. There's a nice pond around and they have yet plans to develop around here. We wanted to go at a time whent he devotee was not around and Neeta gave us temple code to get it and meditate. The level of trust that someone had was quite a delight. We plan to come when it develops in August.”

“The Dams "signature trail" was overall a good, easy to moderate 4 mile hike. Well blazed, several footbridges need repair. Trail maps available at visitor's center were poorly drawn. Trail was wet in places.”
