  Beautiful, updated home. Comfortable furniture and beds. The owners have thoughtfully considered everything you would need for a family vacation. We had bad weather during our week but thanks to the heated pool, hot tub and games we made lots of family memories. Communication was top notch. You will not be disappointed

  The Balcony OBX checked all the boxes for our family beach Vaca! This place is immaculate from top to bottom, every design selection well thought out to satisfy a renters needs! The kitchen layout, quality appliances, organization and supplies were a huge plus for our family that stays in a cooks every meal. The top balcony views of the ocean are a must and never disappointed, best place to start your day with coffee! The close location to the beach was perfect for vacationing with the grandparents this trip and made it easy for those quick trips back to the house for refills.

  Thank you again so much for having us at The Balcony.
  We had the best week and loved the newly redone decks, the short walk to the beach, the quiet area of the dunes and all of the house updates.
  
  The hammocks, view from the upper deck and hot tub area were top favorite spots for our group! It was comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Perfect for three families with children to each have their own space/bathroom.
  
  The house was very well stocked and was by far our favorite house in the 4 years we've rented in the area. Jennifer was wonderfully communicative and helpful throughout our stay!
  
  I would 10/10 recommend the house as well as booking direct through people who love and care for their home away from home.

  We loved staying at The Balcony OBX. The house has everything we needed. It was so nice to have all the comforts of our home kitchens and we loved the beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys that were there for our use. The layout of the house is perfect for two families—it gave us both enough privacy but we were able to be together and hang out too. The multiple outdoor areas were great too. We were even able to watch Fourth of July fireworks from the top deck!

  My family had an amazing 3 night stay at The Balcony OBX over Memorial Day weekend and we've already added our names to the 2023 waitlist! This was the perfect spot for our two family mini-vacay (4 adult, 3 kids under 7) and it would still be comfortable for a few more kids or possibly a third family/couple. The Jones' clearly put a lot of time, thought, love, and money into making this space feel like a home away from home for their guests! The kitchen is stocked with high quality items, beds and linens are top notch as well, and everything just feels like it fits together. This place has definitely NOT been stocked with "left over" furniture and accessories like you might experience at some rentals. The pool, hot tub (with TV), and AstroTurf sunning area were amazing! The walk to the beach is super easy! I only wish that we could have made more use of the outdoor space on the two decks. All the thumbs up!!!
