But the yellow cake with caramel frosting is worth making a special trip just to enjoy this cake. The caramel frosting is so smooth and so delicious! “I stayed at this vacation home for 13 weeks during my travel assignment as a traveling speech pathologist. Not only was the scenery of the bay breathtaking, but the house was absolutely perfect for everything I needed. It is so cozy with plenty of room which came in handy when I had family & friends visiting! It is equipped with everything so I did not have to move anything except my clothes & personal belongings! Michelle was more than accommodating with anything that I may have needed & answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this home for anyone needing a quiet, safe place to stay with a waterfront view or for a long term rental; I couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

“A really nice furniture store!! Walked in their store, was greeted by employee Jackie, which is awesome!! I had forgotten my mask and she kindly provided one. She pointed me in the direction of recliners. Mine broke the day before, so was glad to see they had a huge selection!! I didn't have to look long. I loved the first one I sat in and then saw one that matched my decor even better and actually rocked better. It was sold, but Jackie called their OBX store and they had it. In a few short hours, they delivered my chair, and for a small fee, they removed the broken chair and took it away for disposal. I could not have been more pleased. The two men that delivered the chair were awesome and carefully brought them in and out with no damage!! They have some really beautiful furniture!! If I could, I would rate it higher!!”

“This is the only bank that i have ever been to where every time i go in i get a "how are you?" "How was your weekend" and " have a wonderful day or weekend." they truly have the local home town feeling. The only issue you i have had is the bank itself keeps flagging my activity as fraud and shuts my card off in the middle of checking out but other then that they are wonderful. I usually call the 1800 number and tell them that its me and its fixed in less then 5 minutes.”

We have ordered carry out on several occasions, and often as a last minute decision, and the food is always ready within the time quoted when we pull up to the drive-thru window. Recently, we had an issue with our order that we did not realize until we got home. I realize mistakes happen so I contacted the restaurant via their Facebook page and the General Manager responded almost immediately to correct the situation!”
