Recommend bringing wood if you can, not much to scrounge from but available to purchase at Campground store on site, with plenty of supplies. Would definitely come back”

“We were in town for a sport competition and was recommended this spot for lunch. Coming from Virginia Beach where there are a ton of sushi and Japanese restaurants, I was not impressed with the quality of seafood or taste of the food at this restaurant. It is good for cheap sushi and Japanese food. It is all you can eat ordered from your table. The pricing was super affordable. The service was fast and food. Our food came out fairly quickly and within food plate portion. So I do recommend it while you're passing through as Moyok is a small town. Just do not expect top notch seafood or sushi.”

“My family stayed this past Summer and to keep it short - it did not disappoint! From dolphin watching every morning off the top balcony to star gazing at night in the hot tub - every moment was incredible. The wild horses even came into the yard and garage, which was extraordinary to observe. The kids had fun in the pool and at the beach. We stayed with 5 other families and never once felt crowded. With the 3 floors, there was enough space to have time to yourself, if you wanted. The home was clean, kid friendly, spacious and a VERY short walk to the beach. We will be making it our yearly vacation spot!”

“I love the feel of a small town hardware store! Always wanting to go down the road to the big box store, but "I" always end up coming back to Taylors! They sell the Best soil around, Fox Farm! I would pay $10 more and drive 20+ miles to some garden shop to buy it! I seen it in the store last year! HAPPY! JOY! I've always had a warm welcome! If there's a part I need and they don't have it, there's enough there to rig anything! And they will order what you do need! Most people may be shocked, but our house was built in the 90's and most replacement parts needed are always at Taylor's! All of our window locks, screen corner replacements, plumbing parts, all came from Taylor's! So, if your home was built in the early 90's, I'm 99.9% sure you'll find what you need at Taylor's! Love this store!”

Kathy does a great job all around - from organizing the visit (and working with me through scheduling changes due to the tropical storm) to providing a fun and interactive tour with the alpaca and other animals. She knows the tendencies of each of the alpaca so that you can get the most interaction with each one. She also doesn't overbook to ensure she focuses on your tour. We had a great time and highly recommend it. If you can't make it down, they'll come to you as well. I can't rate on this service but I'm sure it's a quality experience as well.”

“We love CBVFR! We vacation is Carova twice a year, and always knew the department was there. It wasn't until this last April that we stopped in to have a look at their t-shirt selection. AMAZING! A variety of shirts/sweatshirts that are WAY better quality than the touristy stores that i won't mention. We stopped by again this October and purchased hoodies. The staff there are very nice and welcoming. I didn't realize they sell ice, water, cold drinks and ice cream as well. That is good to know! We are looking to build a beach house in Carova next year and it is nice to know that the department is there if ever needed.”
