Remarkable staff that treats these animals as their own. The vet did everything in her power to save our goat from polio, even took him home. We were charged a very fair amount and met with compassion and education to prevent in the future. They will always be our first call with our animals.
Dr. Cole is a great veterinarian. She has done a good job with our goat that was attacked by a large dog.
As a lifelong large and small animal owner/raiser, I've worked with a lot of vets in 2 states-- both large and small animal. I cannot say enough good about the vets at Lexington Large Animal. I've worked with all 3 doctors now for my goats. They are incredibly knowledgable, accessible and hard working. They're not just guessing on how to care for goats like you might get with some large animal vets. They're trained and knowledgeable in the care of goats. We are so lucky to have them in our community.
Super helpful and super reasonable. Got us in on an hours notice and stayed well after closing time to get my Danny boy back on his feet.. I appreciate you guys
Have a goat that needed some care. They came to the house for the initial assessment and took samples. The vet was able to catch each goat to give them shots. We had to take our little girl and another goat to their facility for a transfusion. I dropped them off and they stayed overnight. The vet and office kept in touch letting us know their progress. I picked them up a long with a small bag of prescriptions. All in all we are happy with the outcome. Our little Betty looks to be doing better and that all that really matters. Impressed with the professionalism will use them again as needed.
