Davie Dermatology & The Med Spa

I've visited plenty of doctors/specialists in my time and felt this office really deserving of a review! I've only had two visits, but everyone I've encountered is friendly. I've waited 1+ hours at other offices in the past, but Davie Dermatology have been quick to get patients in. Dr. Stimmel was attentive, asking questions and providing thorough advice for treatment. None of my concerns felt overlooked, and so far my treatments are helping only one month in!

Excellent personal service.Dr Hess took the time to explain my condition and treatment clearly. Everyone was pleasant in the office. After dealing with the large conglomerates, Atrium and Novant health where you feel like you’re just a number this was a breath of fresh air. I felt like I was back in the old days when Doctors and staff used to spend time with you to make sure you were well cared for.

I have never felt more taken care of after leaving a medical appointment. Each employee I came into contact with greeted me with smiles, kindness and compassion. Five stars to each and every one of the staff.

Excellent doctors and team. I was 45 minutes early to my appointment (I had the time wrong in my head; no fault of the office at all). The receptionist was great. While she didn’t promise they would see me early, she did say she would try. And what do you know?! They saw me within 5 min of my arrival. I would have been happy to have waited the 45 minutes but was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. Great example of a well run team.

On this visit, I had a new doctor (Dr. Olivia Hughes) after seeing Dr. Hess since 2006 so I was a bit nervous. Dr. Hughes is very personable, kind, and very thorough. She explained everything she was doing to me so I was less anxious about my visit. a good introduction to a new doctor.
