Lakewood Motel

Stayed for a few nights. Rooms are clean and affordable. Management is polite and respectful.

Clean rooms, quiet and friendly owners/employees. We haven't seen any of the "crackheads or drunks" that other reviewers mentioned. Also have not seen any bugs and we have stayed here, approximately 5 times in the last 2 or 3 month. They are doing upgrades and remodeling

My fiance and I will absolutely at any time recommend this hotel to anyone at any given time. The housekeeper's we're so amazing and helpful in so many ways not to mention kind and understanding they work so hard and really take pride in their jobs. I've read some post about cockroaches and gnats but you know what people that's everywhere you go and being that's kind of out in the woods it's what's to be expected. They were so understanding with my hubby and I about having 2 big white boxers and also a cat. And I tell you what she was having fun chasing the teeny little flies that some people have complained about. That's just ridiculous like I said they work so hard and some of these reviews are so absurd. Not just the cleaners the entire staff is so understanding and also extremely kind and is even willing to work with you through hard times like we were having. From the bottom of both of our hearts we want to thank you entirely. PS thank you for holding on to my things that I left in the bathroom cabinet. I will be by there to pick it up as soon as possible we are having some family issues at the moment. And probably will be coming back to stay for a little while. Also if you guys read the other ratings that are cutting you down just remember one thing...you are all truly great people and don't ever let anyone tell you different :-) God bless and we will see you soon :-)
