Amante Gourmet Pizza

Bit the bullet after a long run and ordered what turned out to be one of the best calzones. Broc., olives, fontina , tucked nicely into baked radness. Seemed quite perfect. Thank you!

Amante's is the hidden gem of the local triangle pizza scene. Unassuming diner atmosphere, clean and well run. Economical too, high end pizza, barely above chain restaurant prices.

The real draw is their peerless specialty pizza menu. The online menu has thirty distinct, creative pies to try. The hand printed menu is a novel about delicious food. Not to mention the authentic Italian entrees, wings, subs and wraps.

All told, you could eat a different pie or entree every week for approximately a year without repeating a meal.

Listen, I'm a picky pizza eater in my older age. I've tried a lot of pies all around North Carolina. Amante's is one of the best after only one tasting.

The pizza features crisp vegetables hand cut from fresh produce, light on the fatty mess like butter and oil, heavy on the toppings - good clean pizza that feels like you ate a regular meal tomorrow morning.

Spanish pizzeria, we had the 18" NY style, it was thin & crispy & well flavored, it was delicious😋. Just what we wanted!!!!

Always creative, always really good. Exotic combinations you out can’t find anywhere else. I have missed this place a lot (I live in Raleigh but recently started working in Chapel Hill)
