Great food and huge portions. I got the legume platter and my husband got the chicken. Both yummy. The spicy slaw was particularly delicious. We loved the Caribbean music playing as well. Shout out to the excellent service we received. We will be back to try more of the dishes!

A friend and I stumbled in here on a whim the other night, not knowing what to expect. What we were greeted with was not only incredible food, but some of the kindest and best service I’ve experienced in Durham. We both had the legume platter and shared the Mac and cheese. Make sure you come here hungry because the portions are very large and you aren’t going to want to stop eating (the food is that good!). While this was my first experience with Haitian food, it definitely won’t be my last. This is a must try spot! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I’m visiting the area from FL and was looking for local Haitian cuisine when I found them. I ordered the griot plate which was absolutely delicious. They packed my plate full with griot, banan peze, and pikliz with sos on the side. The meat was so juicy and fried to perfection, the banan perfectly crisp and seasoned, and the pikliz (which im usually very particular about) was just as spicy and flavorful as I expected. The customer service is amazing as well. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm welcomes and friendly conversation. They were very helpful with ordering and brought my food out quicker than any other (non-fast food) restaurant I’ve been to. 10/10 Will be recommending to everyone I know!!!

After searching high and low for some Authenticity I stumbled upon Pierro to Go at Joe's Diner. Griot and pikliz might be the best I have ever had. These haitian beef patties were out of this world

Omg OMG OMG literally just left there about 10 minutes ago couldn’t WAIT to dig in and like I said OMG it reminds me of my uncle’s cooking god rest his soul. I miss my hometown because of the Haitian food and I have been searching since I moved. The search is over this will definitely be my go to for Haitian food from now on. LOVE YOU GUYS 😂😂🥰
