I was diagnosed with a simple case of Plantar fasciitis by both EmergeOrtho and a Duke orthopedist
After 8 months of stretching exercises and rolling my foot on a ice pack I had reached my limit. It was suggested by a coworker that I go see Dr. Pifer.
Stephanie and Janet are incredibly warm and caring. The atmosphere in that office is one you would find in a small town unlike most practices that just treat you like a number. They really care!!
Dr. Pifer took his time a listened to what had be going on INSTEAD of jumping to a quick conclusion and just giving me another useless insert. After he reviewed my X-rays he explained that I had a bone spur.
I’m back on my feet and walking without a painful limp.
The old saying “ always get a second opinion” is a understatement!! But sometimes you need a third.
They are GREAT!!!

Stephanie and Janet are awesome! They are very warm and welcoming. Janet was extremely nice over the phone when I first called for an appointment and she was able to get me in the office for the soonest appt. Dr. Pifer made me very comfortable and he has the best bedside manner ever. I would recommend this office to everyone!

Dr. Pifer is the absolute best at what he does! He outfitted me with orthotics almost thirty years ago and I'm still using them.
He also helped me get rid of a plantar's wart with no trouble at all.
By far my most favorite doctor ever.
