Rockwood Park

Tucked away, quiet, has a playground and a shelter. Nice space, but grass is sparse in some areas, so it is very muddy post-rain. The parking lot is small, so not ideal for large gatherings. Great for families and pets.

Peaceful location with plenty of trees for shading. As mentioned in other reviews, parking is limited at the end of Whitley Dr., but thankfully we have never seen the park too crowded. This does seem to be a spot for mischievous teenagers, but hopefully that is only based on my anecdotal experience.

Quiet tucked away park with a fair amount of trees and shade of strolling or for a picnic. Has playground equipment and plenty of area for kids to run. Parking is very limited down a dead end street.

Cute and and quiet. Occasional litter from nearby neighborhoods, but peaceful. Has a little library near the parking area

went there with a tinder date on a day with a tornado warning. no one else was there. we each sipped a beer under the pavilion, and talked about the crushing reality of life within late stage capitalism and neoliberal hegemony. we kissed on the basketball court, then she rode off on her bicycle and i have not seen her since.
