“I am no longer a member because I moved away from Durham, but I cannot say enough good things about this place. 3 years ago I started doing CrossFit and it was there, I had no idea of what I was getting myself into. Before this I was going to the gym on my own and I was running but I kept doing it on and off. I vividly remember telling my wife I wasn't sure I would stay very long, but I wanted to give it a try. 3 years later, I cannot do without CrossFit! This place is awesome. Do not be afraid, they will help you make progress one scaled push up at a time. The coaches are great and knowledgeable, and the community will become your second family. If you want to become a better "you", give them a try, for real.”

“Tony installed a new sink and connected the garbage disposal and plumbing after a new counter install. He was called last minute and managed to fit us in. He did a fantastic job and tested that everything worked correctly before leaving, giving us clear instructions on what we needed to do to make sure everything set correctly. Highly recommend!”

“Ty and Jessy both went the extra mile to help me find what I needed for several items. They we're very knowledgeable about all the products and knew exactly where they were. I was in a hurry so this saved me a lot of time. They also had EXCELLENT customer service and had very positive attitudes. I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer and tell everyone how great my experience is.”

“I visit this establishment multiple times per week since I love to keep my cars clean. In fact I just added another one of my cars to the monthly membership. I once used to be a car wash manager for about 6 years, so there was a level of service I became accustomed too. When I first moved to this area 7 years ago I tried several different car washes and I was never pleased. So instead I would wash at home. But since this location has opened, I no longer have to do that. I get in and get out. The staff here is really nice and I often share a laugh or two with them. There’s a gentleman I see there from time to time who will come over and strike up a conversation with me. (I think he might be a Manager or Owner) Overall I’m pleased. If there’s one suggestion I would make; it would be to have vending machines that had air fresheners, armor all towelettes, etc.”

“My parents recently bought a house in northern Durham, less than 2 miles from Handy Kitchen. Turns out this is going to be a problem because it's so good and fast that I end up eating there way too much. The egg drop soup can be a little gloppy like they didn't wisk the thickener enough, but the taste and ratio of egg to liquid is great. The sweet and sour pork was nicely crisp and good quality meat. The chicken lo main has been a crowd favorite. So was the honey chicken, btw they give you a ton of sauce so you can douse your food. Pork fried rice has nice chunks of meat in it. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is their definition of spicy. I've asked for spicy twice and feel both time it was pretty mild.”

“This is a great neighborhood post office, where the folks recognize you after your third or fourth visit. I can't believe some of the negative reviews I read here. The people who work at the PO are your neighbors, not your indentured servants. They cannot magically make your package appear if it is not there. Do you think your mail is being mishandled at the box? Well pull out your phone and take a video - pix or it didn't happen. The ladies at the counter here are so sweet, old fashioned and warmly southern. If you don't like that kind of service, and you can't behave yourself like a good neighbor and citizen, there's always Fedex. Go there and leave this post office for those of us who appreciate it.”

“Three of my children have been to this preschool and I HIGHLY recommend it. It feels like my children are truly being encouraged and loved there - not just cared for. It's small so they have always been able to work with us or quickly address anything extra that our children needed. It really is "Durham best kept secret."”
