Durham Fire Department Station 16

I have so much good to say about this station. I was on my way home this evening, heard a siren, and pulled over for a fire engine to get by. Needless to say, my car got stuck in the mud. Neither I nor the good Samaritan who stopped with me, had any luck budging the car.

That same fire engine, when they were through with their call, looped back around and pulled over behind me. The five of them unlodged my car, cleared the way, and stopped traffic so I could be on my way.

Durham's finest! It made me grateful for our first responders at Station 16. I thought of the risks that fire fighters take every day, fighting fires, and saving lives, and helping out with distressed vehicles, and their stressed drivers. Thank you for being there and for all that you do!

Amazing! Efficiently does their work and are very kind and thoughtful. Christmas 2016 not only did they make sure we were safe, but provide our family of 8 with food that lasted us days. Thank you so very much! You're such a blessing and a I pray that God opens his window and bless you all and your families tremendously! Thank you again ☺
