(August 6, 2019, 6:17 pm)This was my first time having an arepa. I tried the shredded beef arepa. It was delicious. It was like a pot roast sandwich on a corn flour bread that is very tasty. It was savory, delicious, and I can't wait to try something else from this food truck!!!
(July 23, 2019, 6:56 pm)I’ve loved arepas since the first time I tried them in NYC about 15 yrs ago. For the uninitiated they are a savory griddled cornmeal “cake” that is cut in half and filled with various things like cheese or shredded beef (ropa vieja). Que Viva does a terrific version of arepas as well as fried (sweet) plantains. This and Urban Street Grill are now my top 2 food trucks for Winston-Salem.
