Hawgfish BBQ Seafood Shack

Absolutely wonderful in every way!! Excellent quality food and plenty big enough servings, the service is very kind knowledgeable and frequent, good bit of parking and a little extra parking off to the side, and not overpriced like some seafood restaurants. No complaints at all and will return to eat there many times to come.

The bacon bbq burger was one of the best I’ve eaten. Brisket sandwich was awesome too. Fries were hot and crisp. Staff was great. Saw a salad come out. Looked amazing. Will def go back and bring friends. Place was clean and ambiance was great.

We arrived on a Sunday, right after they had opened for the day, around noon time. People were already lined up and waiting to be seated at 12:15. We waited about fifteen minutes. Our main waitress was horrible, but her fellow servers were awesome helpful and picked up her slack. Some of the food was over cooked, but what wasn’t tasted good and was plentiful for the price.

I would rather this about a 3.7 right now. Had dinner here with my wife on the second day they were open. I feel they have a good value for the money but there is room for improvement. The establishment is very well lit and very open. The waitress we had and the staff we talked to were all super friendly. The improvement part would be the way the food was cooked. The fried was a little off. Seemed like the fryer temp was too high. The outside seemed to be over cooked while the inside was still slightly mushy on some things. We do plan on returning and I expect they will improve
