Talon Tattoo

I got tattooed by Ioana since she was starting out and she's only gotten better. She has an amazing eye for working color and shading on non-white skin. Not only her but the whole shop clearly care about sanitation and cleanliness as well as patron comfort. (This is the first shop I've ever been to that had menstrual products in their restroom) Everyone there was super friendly and the shop itself is gorgeous. If you're femme, queer, and/or bipoc I couldn't recommend Talon Tattoo (and Ioana) more!

I have been getting tattooed by Mallory B for almost 10 years now. I have had an excellent experience with her at every juncture.

Talon Tattoo is VERY clean and comfortable. I know that this shop is clean and upholds the local standards for health and safety.

Mallory is also a wonderful person and artist to talk to, she can carry on a conversation with anyone and is incredible at her craft and art. She is also great at keeping appointments and her schedule. And on the rare occurrence when she has needed to reschedule, I have gotten back on her books within a few week. While this sounds normal to most people, many tattoo artists are horrible with scheduling, planning and preparation. This is not the case for Mallory and her team at Talon Tattoo.

The only reason I am giving it 5 stars, is you cannot give anymore :)

I've had multiple tattoos from Mallory. She is fabulous! I've given her ideas/ my vision and she turns them into art. I've seen the work of other artists as well while I'm there. This shop is full of incredibly talented artists. It's also incredibly clean and sanitary practices are of the utmost importance to them. In addition, this is a safe environment for LGBTQIA+. They are active in the community and making Winston Salem a better, safer place.

I loved working with Mallory Blalock at Talon Tattoo shop on my custom design full back piece. The place was very clean and very comfortable. Mallory is incredibly talented and designed such a beautiful tattoo! I get compliments all the time and its not even yet finished... I think they are by far the best tattoo shop in Winston Salem! Highly recommended!!!!

I can't say enough positive things about Talon and their staff. Mallory is a well seasoned artist and it really shows in her work. It's been a couple years since she did one of my tattoos and to this day, the black is still dark and has not faded at all. Super kind. Quick. Beautiful work. Great price. There will be a wait period more than likely, but it's worth it!
