“I highly recommend this institute for parents looking for a safe and loving place to leave their kids while they are away at work. This location is filled with teachers and staff that are passionate about their job and the kids that attend there. My daughter is 2 now but have been going there since she was 10 months. It wasn't easy at first to leave her being that she is my only child, but with the pictures and updates throughout the day it put all my fears away. Its not just a childcare center, but a place where kids learn academics and how to interact with others their ages. The kids receive three well balanced meals with snacks in between and a numerous amount of love and attention together and one on one.”

“Our family LOVES this part-time weekday program packed with a great curriculum, fun events and amazing staff. The director, Jennifer Lockert, is the best! She truly loves the children and school and does an awesome job. She is very organized and does a great job communicating with parents. Her warm personality and loving spirit make her so welcoming, and she knows each child and can tell you something sweet about each one. It's clear that she takes time to select the best teachers as well! They create a warm and supportive environment - the best atmosphere for encouraging learning, having fun and creating strong bonds. The teachers include age-appropriate activities that incorporate learning, music, art and exercise, and even Spanish! The children bring home so many cute art projects and also hold an art show. The facility itself is great, with bright and cheery classrooms filled with books and toys, an amazing music room, a courtyard and playgrounds for outdoor play, and large areas for special events. The school holds numerous fun events for the children (and parents!) to look forward to each year, including Muffins with Moms, an indoor special activity play day, Donuts with Dads, visit from a petting zoo, several special outdoor activities, a fire truck visit, ice cream social, and an end of year performance. The school also offers a lunch bunch, with optional extra activities, so that your child can have some extra time at school, and has several summer camps offered each year, with great programming.”

“My son is as motivated as can be expected to go to school everyday and is upset if he is picked up early from after school. That's most important to us as parents and the facilities are second to none. Diversity at private elementary schools are a work in progress amongst students and this school is no different but atleast the staff is a good mix of cultures. Most of staff is very cordial and plenty of opportunities to volunteer to get engrossed in the schools culture. The biggest thing this school has going though is, by far, the talented students and there eagerness to use the excellent facilities they have at there disposal.”

“The William G. White YMCA is a great place to exercise and relax. The staff is always friendly and upbeat. This is one of the oldest YMCA locations in Winston-Salem, so the facilities show some wear in spots, but this location keeps renewing and reinventing itself. It also has some special facilities that others do not have. The gardens at the entrance are especially beautiful.”

“We love Childcare Network! In the fall when my son's prior daycare arrangements didn't work out like we hoped, I set up an interview and took a tour. Upon arrival we were greeted by the director to a clean, lively daycare center. My son, who had never been in a formal childcare setting before, walked right into the toddler room and was quickly engaged with the other children and teachers. This immediately gave me a great sense of relief. I have a love like no other for my son, and I don't trust just anyone to care for him. On our tour I was given a great deal of helpful information about the curriculum Childcare Network uses. My son has blossomed so much since his enrollment. While he isn't talking yet, he is becoming more verbal. His coordination has improved. Most importantly, his social skills have been enhanced tremendously. Every day he walks into "school" ready to play and learn with a smile on his sweet face. We love our teachers Mrs. Cindy and Ms. Jasmine! They are so supportive and nurturing. As a fellow educator, I know the importance of quality teachers and how they can impact a child. I feel blessed to have found Childcare Network and highly recommend it!”
