Old Stone Steakhouse

My husband and I secured a 5:30 reservation on their covered and heated patio. I will admit that I was a bit concerned since it’s December but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. We started with their shrimp and crab dip which did not disappoint. Plenty of pita points were provided to scoop up the slightly spicy dip. Our meals were
accompanied with salad. I got their house wedge and my husband upgraded for their classic wedge. The portions were huge!!! For our mains, I ordered the beef tips and my husband the short rib pasta. Outstanding! We cannot wait to return. Our meal was great, service was attentive, and drink prices were fair. If you debating going, go! You won’t regret it!

First time here. Recommended while on a business trip. Brett was an amazing server! Our food came out hot and wine was cold! We sat outside and had no issue in service. Super cute place. Lovely walk through downtown from our Air BnB to get there. Hands down the best hamburger steak and mashed potatoes I have had in some time.

I ate here for a birthday dinner about 8 years ago, I remember it being fine and gave it 5 stars. We came back today during lunch after a kids party in the park. Service was prompt and friendly. A booster seat and a high chair were provided. The restaurant was not particularly busy and we were seated outside right away. We weren't a fan of the baked pimento with pita bread appetizer, despite liking both pimento cheese and pita bread typically, but others in the reviews seemed to like it just fine. The mac and cheese is cooked with bacon if you have dietary restrictions with pork, we didn't remember if the menu specified that, so we didn't bother mentioning it since I ended up eating it and giving my wife the fries. My daughters beef tips were on the salty side, but fine overall. The burgers were good, and provided a filling meal. The restaurant/bathrooms were clean. As an aside, the owner should stop picking fights with his customers in the restaurant reviews. Who knows, maybe the customers enjoy a bit of the Gordon Ramsay/Simon Cowell experience, but it's probably best to just say "Sorry you had a bad experience, give me a call at xxx-xxx-xxxx and I'd love to make things right.", rather than just bicker about the semantics of a customer's experience. I've personally changed negative reviews when a business showed professionalism after the initial criticism, a business needs thicker skin.

They need to added at least 2 more stars for this to accurately reflect the perfection of this restaurant. I've eaten at some high end steakhouses, but none have executed in absolute perfection as this place has. Mind blowingly delicious. Service was superb and the atmosphere was lovely. It looked upscale without the feeling of being stuffy. You can absolutely come as you are. Thank you for an other worldly experience!
