Ordered take out and the young lady that assisted me was very friendly and helpful. Chose the beet salad, fried oyster appetizer and a side of Mac n cheese. The oysters, six in count were fried delicately and were a decent regular size, individually. Thr food came to $29.00. The beet salad was small in size yet refreshing with red and orange beets, goat cheese and fried onions. The Mac n cheese was OK, but I wouldn’t order it again. It wasn’t worth the calories. The cheese tastes and looked liked American shredded cheese which won’t cut it for me when it comes to Mac n cheese. However I can’t complain as the Mac m cheese had a low price point. Overall, I would visit again and order something else.

The have a crab dip appetizer that is wonderful. Their clam chowder is also awesome, fish and chips were good, nachos dish was enough for two people, and their pizza was competitive and tasty. I actually had the salad and added tenderloins that were cooked medium, just the way i asked. You can tell we all shared...and I was very pleased with all of menu we tried. This Greensboro restaurant has been and still is excellent every time we go there! The 35 minute wait was worth it!!!!

The best dining option in a 87 mile radius. Prompt service, exciting menu, reasonable prices, and quality fare. I've been coming for years and it has never failed. Once my brunch ran long, and they needed to move me to a smaller table, and they comped my bill without even asking. The Village Tavern reigns supreme. Would recommend. Would eat again.
