Tim Small Automotive

We have been taking both of our cars to Tim Small since 2012. He's reliable and great mechanic.

Tim is incredibly honest and fair, more than any mechanic I have ever met. Whenever I am traveling or away from home and have a car issue, Tim is the first person I call to ask if a quote is fair or if I am being ripped off.

I have owned three cars since moving to North Carolina, and I ALWAYS bring them to Tim first. He knows his clients by names, and probably has names for all of our cars as well.

You won’t get the flashy customer lounges that you’ll find at dealerships or corporate mechanics, but you’ll get fair pricing and good old fashioned customer service.

Tim has done repair on our vehicles, and our families’ vehicles for a long time. He is professional, honest and up front about any repairs that need to be done and the cost before he begins. Recently, he even advised for us to have my daughter’s vehicle checked against a recall list for repairs which another shop said would cost $6000 for a new engine. After checking, the repairs will be covered under the dealership and not any cost to us, which would have been an expensive repair. He remains an honest and trustworthy person and we value his opinion. Thank you Tim!

Nothing but praise for Tim Small Automotive. Tim is personable and staff is friendly. He does a great job and is super trustworthy to follow-through on repairs. He does not do sloppy work at all. I recently had to have my A/C system replaced fully. He charged very reasonable and fair price for the parts and the labor. It was done in two days since he worked on some of my fluid changes and sanding out the rotors for me as well. Very impressed with the work and Tim tells you what he did with thorough written detail on the receipt as well for records. I am glad to know a place that I can trust and know I am getting a very fair deal and quality work done.
