“EXCELLENT customer service! I’ve been many times now and I really can’t say enough. Always have had a pleasant shopping experience when I’ve driven up from Asheboro. I’m pretty new to BB, but now I have several items and absolutely love the quality! The new shoes are very well-made and to me much better than Sperry. I don’t remember the names of the staff members who assisted me but one was a woman, and two older gentlemen. Very helpful and accomodating; instead of repairing a sweater I brought in I was given a credit, which to me is even better, I can choose something new. But I really want to thank all the staff there, they’re all very professional and courteous and know how to treat customers! Definitely go in and look around if you want some new stuff and want the classy experience of shopping there!!”

“Very pleased. This was our first time eating at Mimi's Cafe and it will not be our last. They were also following the mask mandate that's in place. Our server was very nice and friendly. My wife and I both ordered the chicken and waffles and it was great. The portions were larger then expected. 1 serving could have actually fed us both.”

“My experience with Guilford College goes long back to high school days when I would go to their library and listen to their Folkways collection and specifically Robert Johnson's one Delta Blues record which was the basis for rock and roll song. When returned to NC after my NYC business failed, with even a National VO under my belt, I justified keeping in practice by doing DJ work at WQFS as Transcendian for about a year and a half. At the time we were told WQFS was rated third in the nation of College Radio Stations. It is an important station, as much as Guilford College is an important college. I appreciated the opportunity to do what I had always wanted in my life to do, as it was the satisfaction of an ambition to be a DJ. I encourage all of you to listen and to be grateful, and to support the station. As said it is important because there are attacks on Free Speech, and freedom in general in this nation and the world, and where you find freedom and exploring voices, is not to be ignored or discounted.”

“Sadly the location that was nearest to me permanently closed down . I loved that store. They were never like their competitor W-S. At W-S they would follow you around the whole store pressure selling you. At Sure La Table they would give you a friendly greeting and if you had a particular interest they would gladly help you. Or if you were just browsing they would cheerfully say " let us know if you need anything." The website is really easy to use but, I do miss that hands on feeling. I like to be able to look and touch what I am paying for.”

“Great place to get an education and I feel very fortunate that I attended here. Classes are smaller, the professor's I had here were great, and the campus is beautiful. If you're older then the adult education program is perfect for getting you're college degree while fitting to your work schedule. The parking situation is also perfect compared to most other colleges. One other standout is the excellent library. Don't rule out Guilford because you've never heard of them. It's a great school period.”

“I must admit that as a first-time mom I was all but terrified to send my little one to Pre-k. But we have been so blessed this year. My daughter has had the pleasure of being in Ms. Crystal and Ms. Lisa's class and I could not have asked for a better experience! They have gone the extra mile to not only make sure that my child is safe and learning but they have also made sure that I have been comfortable and informed as a parent. I never have to wonder if my child is okay, what she is learning, if she if she is meeting or goals, etc. because they make sure I am always in the know! I always feel welcomed to come volunteer in the classroom. Even when we had to begin learning remotely due to the COVID-19 outbreak, they never missed a beat! They came by on the bus, blasting party music and dancing letting my baby know how much she is missed! The also set up a classdojo where she could continue to learning and see them teaching so as not to get off her learning routine. They even set up zoom at different times during the dat to make sure that we could always engage in face-to-face learning no matter our schedule. In addition, in the last week they even set up a Kindergarten Q and A zoom so that I could get all of my questions answered about next steps by actual kindergarten teachers! I could not have asked for a better experience. My 5 year old is reading and writing and conversing in ways I never thought a 5 year old could! Thank you so much for being so amazing!”
