(August 20, 2021, 1:55 pm)Went to Gloria's had the awesome tropical salad with steak. It was absolutely delicious. The black beans are always pleasing to the soul. The chips fresh and crispy. Gloria's will always be a favorite of mine. Its a must try if you never had it. They also make a tasty margarita. Perfect place for friends and family.
(July 20, 2021, 1:39 pm)My first taste of Gloria's was here! This location would be impossible if it weren't for their valets. Thanks to them! The porch is great to have a margarita on and enjoy the chips and dip. My husband loves the quail.
(April 29, 2021, 5:58 pm)Always a solid choice! Gloria's has become a staple for me recently. I had tried it once before & forgotten how good the food is - I recently rediscovered it & I can't get enough!
No matter what you are in the mood for or if you are eating with the pickiest of eaters, I feel like the menu has something for everyone! I have used Door Dash to order delivery multiple times & it always arrives hot & fresh!
Now that I am vaccinated I look forward to going to the restaurant & eating here more!
(June 15, 2020, 7:42 pm)First of all the fishing is phenomenal. One of the best fisheries for bass and crappie in the state of North Carolina. Second, the staff was amazing and helpful. My car was running into issues in the parking lot and the park was closed. The staff helped me with everything until midnight and I was able to get home. I really appreciate the awesome service! Definitely would recommend this place.
(November 4, 2019, 10:30 am)This is a great hidden gem! The fields are nice and the facilities are clean. Great place to bring the dogs, hit some softballs, or just walk around! Not a busy place either.

There are baseball fields open for public use and also marina access. You can choose to rent kayaks/canoes or bring your own.
There are several shelters open to the public and available to rent.
The dog park and multiple walking trails offer a wide variety of options.
(April 15, 2019, 8:34 pm)Gates are closed on Monday and Tuesday...many walking trails, shelters, bathrooms, fishing peir, paddle boat rentals in riddick creek in the protected wetlands. Nice place that can be difficult to find as there are no signs on the roads saying where to turn but that is okay ????
(April 4, 2019, 4:16 pm)Just move to the area and I found this gem....very well kept.. Beautiful scenery.... I'm a stay at home mom...so having a park like this is a plus for me....

Angela Moore reviewed Southwest Park - 4 star. Love the park, great trails and good facilities. I do wish they'd post more signs to at least inform people about the leash laws - both Southwest and Hagan-Stone Parks are over-run with dog owners that allow their dogs offleash on the trails.
