After seeing one of the largest Confederate flags flying as we left Virginia, I quickly remembered that as an African American woman, I was not in friendly territory; especially in 2023. Judy, however, provided a welcomed greeting, the rooms were newly remodeled so the accommodations were more than could be expected, and the environment offered a feeling of "safety", which was a beautiful gift and unexpected blessing! Thank you again Jugy!

Hotel clean and decent price. Ice bucket very dirty. Front desk cleaned or swapped ice bucket and apologized.. Found ice machine dirty. Fan on AC runs constantly. Difficult to sleep at night. Breakfast could be improved

2019. Room Nice polite staff, clean room & halls. Breakfast area clean and maintained. Nothing special about breakfast, same standard motel breakfast
(January 15, 2023, 6:46 pm)This was our 2nd time staying in this excellent hotel. Smooth check- in and accommodating staff. Spacious and clean rooms. They have upped their game regarding breakfast since our last stay. It was clean and the staff was attentive. Great location right off 40, across the street from groceries and gas station. This hotel is a great choice if you are driving across the country.
(January 9, 2023, 12:30 pm)We were comfortable. Check in was seamless. Our room was clean, mattress was just right. Bedding was nice. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot were nice conveniences. The breakfast attendant seemed like she really enjoyed her job. She added a lot of positive energy to the experience.
We liked it so much we chose Comfort Suites for our last stop on our way home.
