My moms birthday was in October. She wanted a Boston Cream Cake for her special day. I looked around for a bakery that could make this for us and found Bake Lab in Buies Creek right next to Campbell University. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious. Laura made the cream pudding by hand using natural ingredients. The cake was moist and fluffy with a perfect sweetness. The chocolate ganache topping set it off. Our family really enjoyed it. The price was good for a homemade quality ingredient cake and they were a delight to work with. Bake Lab offers many different sweet treats and we ordered our sons college graduation cake for December from them also. Even though he is an Appalachian State Grad and not Campbell they were happy to do it. We chose to do a chocolate cake with raspberry filling. I can’t wait to see and taste how it turns out. I came in last week less than an hour before closing with a last minute request for a gender reveal cupcake. The ladies there were so excited to make it up for me and bring it to me next door while I waited. This place is exceptional and I was so touched by their kindness and a delicious cupcake!

Wow! First of all the owner is very friendly and she’s got a great energy and vibe in her store. Second, and maybe more importantly, her baked goods are freakin delicious. We got one of each kind of cookie she had out that day and I still can’t decide which one was my favorite (ok it was the double chocolate). We also got several mini cheesecakes and they were legit the best I’ve ever had. Especially the strawberry chocolate. We’ll be back for sure and highly recommend!!

My husband ordered this cake from Bake Lab for my birthday. It was probably the most moist cake I have ever had! Almond 3 layer cake with a rich buttercream icing. It’s evident they do not cut corners on butter and the rest of the high quality ingredients. Taste was fabulous! It was a pound cake texture cake and fed way more people than we had planned for. Lots of leftovers to share with neighbors! Highly recommend. ❤️

This place is awesome. I’m so glad we have this type of bakery in Lillington! Great and tasty treats, they also said they do all types of custom orders for cakes, cupcakes, you name it 🧁 🍰 🍮 you better believe we’ll be back!
