I had my walk-in shower remodeled. Went from tile & grout to cultured marble. I had them replace the PEX piping and fittings behind the walls. I bought and had new fixtures with their own rough-in valves installed. There were different crews that came into our house - some more skilled than others. This meant that sometimes the wrong piece was installed (and another trip needed) or not installed correctly. Your role is to be the inspector. Furthermore, if you do any remodeling, I suggest you monitor the demolition. But for the most part the quality of construction was good and any discrepancies were remedied. The more skilled workers took their time and showed good craftsmanship. The receptionist/sales lady was responsive and she made sure the crews took care of my requests. The owner returned my calls. My only disappointment was the caulk. Today's caulk includes mold inhibitors. Capital Marble Creations has been using the same caulk for many years. Less than a month after completion, the white caulk is showing signs of black mold that frequent cleanings cannot remove without harsh chemical treatment. (I may replace myself.) The work was conducted during a pandemic and a labor shortage, so what should have been a 4-day job took 5 months to complete. There you have the good and the bad. In the end though, I am pleased with the result. As I mentioned to the crews, I would rather them take their time and produce a good product than to rush through the job and have to live with a sub-standard product for years. The cultured marble is of good quality and beautiful. This material makes for easy cleaning, adds value to the house, and should last for years. The price was competitive.

Capital Marble is remodeling my mother's bathroom to give her a wheel chair accessible shower. They have been amazing since day one. The process has been seamless. Everyone has been so nice and kind and answered every question we had. I would recommend them 100 times over.
