(May 19, 2022, 3:29 pm)This is a great farm with the best strawberries🍓 You can pick or they sell boxes of them. We live in Jacksonville FL and visited the location by BBQ Church Road when visiting my daughter. After eating at the food truck we were going to pick strawberries 🍓. Out of nowhere, my husband got lightheaded and then passed out near our vehicle. Everyone there helped out and called 911 as well as helped my daughter get him comfortable as he was out a few minutes. Of course I thought the worst at the time. The rescue arrived and was fantastic. He had woken by then. People were fanning him, pouring water on his neck and helped him drink some water. EMS felt he should go to the ER so they transported him to the hospital. Right before we got in the car to head to the hospital, the nice lady who was working asked us if we had picked any strawberries yet. When we said no, she asked us to wait and came back to us with a huge flat of fresh strawberries 🍓. I nearly cried. ❤️❤️❤️
And as an update, hubby is doing great!!!!! (and so we're the strawberries 🍓🍓🍓)
(May 7, 2022, 10:14 am)Went there with the grandkids the other day and had a great time picking strawberries. They also have many other items in their little store section. Watermelons cheaper than Walmart. Will definitely be going back! Support your local farmers!
(April 24, 2022, 1:32 am)We love Spivey farms, it's now a tradition for us to go strawberry pickin and make strawberry cakes and see how may other things we can make with the strawberries 🍓 We love how sweet and welcoming everyone is there and always look forward to visiting again... oh don't let me forget to tell ya about the hoop cheese it's so yummy too 😋
(May 6, 2021, 10:17 am)We had such a great time at Spivey’s Farm yesterday. I was worried how it would go with three kids but it went well. The workers were very kind and encouraging. They have ripe sweet juicy strawberries and lots of jams. And their rows of strawberries are perfect width for our stroller. I’m thankful that I could push my son in the stroller and he could look around. They also allowed us to look at their cows across the road.
